TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM IN BELLYDANCE
Who is it for?
- Starting from scratch: complete training with technical and academic foundations.
- With previous experience: level assessment to enter the appropriate level.
- For teaching: integrated methodology, theory, and practice with clear guidelines.
Students from Argentina and abroad choose Estudio Sahar® to train through a serious and academic approach. The in-person and online formats allow students to maintain continuity in their studies and be part of an active learning community.

Tools for teaching with clear criteria, planning, and educational follow-up.
History and critical analysis
History of Bellydance, terminology, and work with sources from an academic perspective.

Estudio Sahar Company
The Estudio Sahar Company is the artistic branch that represents the cultural and educational approach of the Studio. It currently works with two ensembles: one dedicated to ethno-identity (folkloric) dances and another focused on Bellydance. For students of the Teacher Training Program, this experience represents a possible pathway for professional practice and artistic development, in connection with Estudio Sahar®’s institutional projects.
Practice and experience in institutional projects
In addition to stage development, the Teacher Training Program offers a pathway in cultural management. Students can undertake professional practice by participating in the Asia Festival® organization team and collaborating in production, communication, and planning tasks. They may also become involved in outreach projects such as the Asia en Buenos Aires podcast, broadcast by the Radio of the Library of the National Congress of Argentina, strengthening practical skills for those seeking serious training with real experience in the cultural field.
You can study in person or online, maintaining a clear structure for learning and assessment.
One weekly class from February to December, plus access to the online campus as a learning support tool.
Schedules: 1st Year: Saturdays at 10 AM and Fridays at 6 PM, 2nd Year: Saturdays at 11 AM, 3rd Year: Saturdays at 12 PM, 4th Year: Thursdays at 6 PM, 5th Year: Thursdays at 7 PM.
Optional: Bellydance Technique: Fridays at 7 PM / Elements: Fridays at 8 PM.
All materials are available on the online campus. Each month, students complete assignments required to take the final exam and receive feedback. All in-person classes are streamed live and remain available as recordings.
Estudio Sahar® Online Campus
The program can be taken either in person or 100% online, and in both formats students have access to the Estudio Sahar® Online Campus. There, they find content organized by topics and levels: recorded classes (including in-person classes), pre-recorded material with technical explanations, recorded theoretical classes, rhythm and musical style recognition exercises, special classes with guest teachers, and selected bibliography to deepen their studies.
Comprehensive training with a cultural and academic approach
The Teacher Training Program is structured over five years and follows a coherent educational framework throughout the entire course of study. The core areas are Bellydance Technique, Ethno-Identity Dances, Arabic Music, Bellydance History, and Cultural Management, integrated to provide serious and academic training. As part of the teaching component, the program includes specific workshops —such as Dance Psychology, How to Teach a Class, and How to Design a Study Plan— aimed at developing clear pedagogical criteria. In addition, students can undertake professional practice by participating in the Asia Festival® organization team or becoming involved in training processes connected to the Estudio Sahar Company.
