Teacher Training Program in Ethno-Identity Dances

A pioneering program focused on practical and theoretical teacher training in ethno-identity dances. Each dance is approached through its native context and its process of stage adaptation during the 20th century, incorporating its own techniques and movement languages while articulating cultural and stage perspectives through the Estudio Sahar® academic method.

Depth, specific technique, and applied cultural approach.

What makes it different?

Este profesorado no solo amplía lo que suele verse dentro de los profesorados de Danza Árabe: incorpora danzas que habitualmente no se enseñan y las trabaja en profundidad a nivel teórico y práctico.

STUDY APPROACH

Balance between cultural approach and stage approach.

In many training programs, ethno-identity dances are interpreted through stage resources and Bellydance aesthetics, prioritizing a performance-based perspective. At Estudio Sahar®, we teach the movements and techniques specific to each dance, without replacing their language with raqs sharqi movements. For this reason, we work especially with native teachers and specialists in order to maintain technical and cultural coherence.
